Sabina's background: It all started way back from my mom's side of the family, a big clan of art lovers. My mother always had a camera in her hands. I got my first Kodak Instamatic at around 6 years of age. My mother and I bonded in the darkroom by both taking college photography classes at the same time. I have now been working as a photographer and fine artist for over fifteen years. I was awarded a BFA in photography and a BA in psychology from The State University of New York at Buffalo. By working in both studio and documentary styles, my goal is to create an intimate and comfortable environment so that the photographs will feel natural and a true sense of my subjects can come through. I am a mom to two super energetic young girls.Besides taking photos and taking care of them, I love to cook and do art projects. *When I was 20 years old my mother was re-diagnosed with cancer (she had been originaly diagnosed when I was 10) and a year later lost her battler with the disease. I dedicate all my work to her, and to the unbreakable bond between parent and child. |
